This single parcel, planted in 1997 to Dijon clonal material, is a mere ten metres from the BC-Washington border on the east side of Osoyoos Lake.
The vineyard, with Anarchist Mountain towering above it to the east, has a slight undulations characteristics of what was once the floor of a large glacial lake. The soil here is fine-textured sands at least 100 meters in depth. The vines dig their roots deep into the porous sandy loam, taking up trace elements from the mineral- rich soils.
The warm mesoclimate and well- drained soils make this our earliest maturing site.
